Such joy you brought to us, sweet Loyce,
The short time you were here;
I know our hearts will e'er rejoice
That you were ours, sweet dear!
Our house seems strangely silent now,
Without your cries of glee,
Our arms are sadly empty now,
Your sweet face we can't see.
We miss the cute things you would say,
The precious things you'd do;
We think of you still every day;
Forever we'll miss you.
I know you're safe in heaven now,
With Auna and Bobbi Jo;
But, oh, my precious little girl,
How sad you had to go!
We'll light a candle in your name;
We'll sadly think of you,
And gaze into the candle's flame
Hoping for a view.
Please come into our dreams, sweet girl,
And dance around and sing!
You were too precious for this world,
And you've been given wings.
Some day we'll come to you, sweet Loyce,
In heaven up above,
And then forever we'll rejoice
As we share our sweet love.
